How is the course structured?
Each module includes multiple lessons.
Lessons include a combination of videos, easy to follow text and VIVED 3D Activities.
The lessons follow a sequence of an introduction, an in depth explanation, a 3D interactive activity, a quiz and a recap.
What is special about the VIVED 3D models?
The VIVED 3D Models are fully dissectable, enabling students to explore carpentry and construction elements in a new way. Plus, students can continue to explore the world of construction when outside of the lab.
I like hands-on activities, why should I use 3D models in my lab?
We agree! Lab time is for hands-on activities. We want to help you maximise your students’ time in the lab. That’s why VIVED is designed to be used either independently or in teacher-led sessions.
It’s perfect for flipped learning; students can learn key concepts at home, and come to the lab prepared for hands-on application of their new knowledge.
Or, use VIVED as a tool for extra study and revision after class.

Students can work through the content independently, or, you can deliver teacher led lessons using our teacher resources.
Can I use the VIVED Carpentry Course in the lab?
Absolutely! We have full lesson plans in our teacher resources if you would like to deliver Carpentry lessons using VIVED
Can the VIVED Carpentry Course be used by students at home?
Yes! This course is designed to be used independently by students. It’s perfect for flipped learning; students can learn key concepts at home, and come to the lab prepared for hands-on application of their new knowledge.
What devices can the VIVED Carpentry Course be used on?
We recommend using a laptop, tablet or desktop computer. This is because our 3D Models are very detailed, and you will not get the full experience using a small screen.
I don’t have laptops / tablets in my lab, can I still use VIVED Carpentry?
Absolutely! Students who have a computer or tablet at home, can learn on their own devices.
How much is the VIVED Carpentry Course?
